The Estate is your own private resort boasting a 50 ft pool, pond w/ waterfall, tennis, pickleball, putting green, hot tub, & much more!
Completely enclosed by a stone wall around the entire 27 acres, guests have exclusive use of the Estate. The main house boasts extensive porches, patios and a sunroom with large hot tub on the patio. Inside, the main floor layout features a kitchen, great room, dining room, parlor and 1/2 bath. The second & third floor comprise of 12 stunning bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the estate. Additionally, there is a guest laundry in the basement. The grand patio is perfect for large gatherings outside and connects the Main House to the Carriage house. The first floor of this cottage is home to a beautiful sunroom large entertaining kitchen, dining/conference space for 36, a half bath. and laundry facility. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property grounds make Green Gables truly special. Our spacious lawn with the grand swimming pool (open May-Sept), tennis / pickleball courts, golf tee boxes & putting green, firepit, disc golf, playground & playhouse and a host of other outdoor games and activities are only the beginning. Trails through the lovely woods brings you to our stream, pond and waterfall where arched bridges, a boathouse, and kayaks add to the fun. Back inside the Carriage Barn, a game room complete with billiards, ping pong, foosball, video games, basketball shoot and darts await! The barn also hosts our gym, theater, and yoga/multipurpose space.
Guests have exclusive and full access to the property and all the amenities except for the Owners area.
Green Gables requires the booking guest to be at least 25 years old and be onsite and have at least one positive review. An additional booking agreement is required.
Cars are recommended. Grocery, Pharmacy, restaurants, post office, gas and most services are all within 1 mile of the property.
Near Spectacular Buck Hill Falls, Skytop resort, Mt. Airy casino & golf resort, multiple ski resorts, Pocono Outlet shopping, and the lovely villages of Barrett township. The Estate sits central to the best of all that the Poconos entails.

Green Gables is a hidden paradise in the Poconos. Our son-in-law found this expansive property for a family reunion of 22 Adults and 6 children ( all boys ranging in age from 17 months to 10 years of age). First of all, we found Lindy to be extremely helpful and responsive prior to our arrival by answering text messages and phone calls with questions regarding amenities .She went out of her way to help locate contact lens which were left behind. The house and property are as beautiful as pictured. We stayed in both the main house as well as the Carriage House. Both areas are well equipped with kitchen appliances. As Lindy stated to me: "all you need to bring are your personal belongings and food". We used the pool, tennis courts, golf, game room and movie theater, kayaks and walked the grounds. Michael ( the grounds keeper) is extremely friendly and accommodating. He was amiable to our needs regarding use of pool at specific times. Is this heaven? No, it's Green Gables.
The property was very beautiful. The amenities were great and the pool was fantastic. The house is nice. Be sure to check with the host about air conditioning especially if you are coming during the summer months. Since the house is older the house has window units, not central AC. Overall, our group had a really great time and made many great memories. Thanks for hosting us!
The Green Gables Estate was perfect for our multi-generational group of 17 adults and 7 children, aged 2-70. The property was beautiful and had so many amenities that we hardly ever left. There was plenty of space so that people were not on top of each other...plenty of room to get away for some quiet time. I really can't describe how great this experience was for our group. The owners went out of their way to make our stay special. We already are talking about a return trip. Thank you Lindy, Devin, Charidy and Michael!
The Green Gable estate was impressive in pictures and amazing in person. Lindy was a warm and welcoming host, who greeted us as we arrived and provided a nice rundown of the property. Mike was so pleasant to talk to and provided great suggestions regarding activities on the property. The house, grounds, and amenities are truly resort quality. There is so much to do on the property making it unnecessary to leave. The owners are truly detail oriented and it shows. The themed bedrooms and cozy spaces throughout the home made for great memories while celebrating a milestone birthday. By far this has been the best Airbnb experience and we are excited to return.
This property is incredible. The grounds are expansive and packed with outdoor activities. It is a massive slice of paradise. I went with 20 guys for a bachelor party (mostly ages 28-30) and we had a blast using the pool/ hot tub, game room, wiffle ball, pickle ball, disc golf, basketball, and the list goes on and on. The owners were super friendly, helpful, and responsive. They live in tiny homes on the edge of the property and greeted us when we first arrived, but otherwise they really encouraged us to have fun on their property stayed totally out of sight. Our group loved Skytop golf course & adventure park (10 mins away) and Skirmish paintball (40 mins away). I would definitely come back!!
Great house! Super accommodating host.
Green Gables was an amazing place to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends and family. Lindy was responsive to inquiries and was able to accommodate requests that we made. The estate has so many activities to do and despite the rain, we were able to take full advantage of the space. There are plenty of knicks and corners in the house that make it a perfect stay for a big group that was full of introverts and extroverts. There are many little touches that make the estate feel both homy and modern. We can't wait to come back!
